Meet The Animals
Browse below to meet just some of the animals we have for our petting zoos!
Yzma:
Species: Llama
Age: 2 years
About: When Yzma was young she got sick and lived inside her previous owners house for a while. Because of that she is a very friendly llama. She loves food and running!
Audrey Duckburn:
Species: Duck (crested)
About: Audrey spends her days hanging out in the canal behind the property. She is very food motivated and loves to talk. Her boyfriend is Aflac. She thinks her 'hat' is the style of the century!
Bellatrix "Bella":
Species: Canine (Toy Poodle)
Age: 8 years
About: Bella is one of 6 herding dogs on the property. She may be small weighing in at 4.5 pounds, but don't let her small size fool you! She's incredibly athletic and smart. She comes to all petting zoos as a senior herding dog and as a PTSD service dog.
Cowgirl:
Species: Canine (Heeler/Aussie)
Age: 1 year
About: Cowgirl is a very sweet herding dog we bring to some of our petting zoos. She is still in training but learning fast. She absolutely adores people!
Jules (Juju):
Species: Canine (Heeler/Aussie)
Age: 1 year
About: Cowgirl's sister. She was born blue and not breathing, CPR revived her and she's been a strong little girl ever since. She had some growth issues growing up, and still tends to run on the small side. She is our newest herding dog, and still learning. Very sweet and very shy, but very very fast!
Chunky:
Species: Canine (Heeler/Aussie)
Age: 1 year
About: Chunky is Jules' & Cowgirl's brother. He is very loyal and takes his job very seriously. He tends to be a little more reserved, so he may shy away from being petted but he does warm up to a few select people.
Magnolia "Maggie":
Species: Goat (Nubian/Pygmy)
Age: 3 years
About: Maggie is a bottle baby goat who was raised around our older dogs. She doesn't realize she is a goat (SHH! it's a secret!) Maggie enjoys people and loves to give "fist bumps" but be careful sometimes she misses your hand and can knock you over. This is her way of playing, she means no harm. (please see video.) We believe Maggie is part black hole, as she will eat anything!
